Founded over 60 years ago, The International Professional Security Association is a membership association that operates for individuals and companies who are working in the safety and security industry. Primarily, IPSA operates as a bridge for those who are employed as security personnel and the companies that manufacture or supply material and equipment used within the aforementioned industries.

On International Security Officers Day, IPSA held an event at Meta, proudly sponsored by the K4 Group of Companies as an active member of the International Professional Security Association (IPSA). The event was dedicated to recognising security professionals for their outstanding contributions and notable achievements within the industry.

K4 Group of Companies has been in the industry for nearly a decade now and has been providing an array of event security and safety services to not only events but also to different sites and locations. We are also proud to become an active member of IPSA to continue our commitment to frontline security.

At the event, one of our employees, Torrez Desrae Gordon, was recognised with the Hall of Fame Award at the International Professional Security Association Awards for her outstanding role and contribution at Shoreditch Gardens, where she showed remarkable composure when a vulnerable individual became distressed. With calm authority, she diffused the situation before it escalated, protecting those around her and ensuring everyone’s well-being. Unfortunately, she was not able to attend the event; hence, K4 received the award on her behalf and presented it to her later.

Receiving the Award, Torrez said,
